The KINGS OF THRASH Global Thrash Tour has officially come to a close following our final night in Belfast, Northern Ireland — fittingly, a legendary city with so much history for Jeff Young and me dating all the way back to 1988.
What a journey this has been.
Over the last few years, Kings Of Thrash has taken us around the world, bringing these timeless songs back to the stage for multiple generations of fans who simply can’t seem to get enough of this early, classic thrash material. From country to country, city to city and stage to stage, the passion for these songs and this era has been undeniable.
This final run through Norway, the UK and Ireland was the perfect way to bring this chapter home.
A massive THANK YOU to every fan who came out, bought a ticket, grabbed some merch, joined us for VIP, traveled to see us and kept this music alive. Thank you to all the promoters, agents, management, venues, crews and everyone behind the scenes who helped make these shows possible.
And most importantly, thank you to my brothers who have shared the stage with me since we put this band together four years ago — Jeff Young, Chaz Leon and Fred Aching Rios.
We played a million notes.
We shared more than a hundred stages.
We traveled the world together.
And through it all, we unified as one voice for our fans, this music and the legacy we’ve carried around the globe.
Kings Of Thrash became much more than revisiting a collection of songs. It became a celebration of an era, a connection between generations and a reminder that great music never really belongs to the past when people still show up to hear it.
For now, it’s time for a much-needed break as I rev the engines FULL STEAM into METAL CHURCH.

Tonight we had the honor of headlining at Stonedeaf Productions LTD, sponsored by our friends at Earache Records ♠️.
There’s something incredibly full circle about this one.
The promoter behind Stonedead wanted to see Jeff and me perform with Megadeth at MONSTERS OF ROCK®, Castle Donington in 1988 — but he missed it - a show that became part of the inspiration for this festival, right down to the iconic dome entrance that recalls the legendary Donington days.
Jeff and I started kingsofthrashofficial together four years ago, and since then this music has taken us around the world, reconnecting us with these songs and with thrash fans far and wide.
Now, as we finish this global Kings of Thrash tour, Jeff and I are full circle — finishing strong with our roots firmly in place.
Our last show together in Megadeth was August 20, 1988 at Monsters of Rock, Donington. Thirty-eight years later, here we are together again, in this same part of the world, playing these songs at a festival inspired in part by that very moment.
Some journeys have a way of bringing you right back to where it all began.

Eric joins the show to discuss the band’s new album, Rats in the Temple, how Flotsam and Jetsam approach songwriting today, and the major impact drummer Ken Mary has had on the band’s sound and recording process.Eric also takes a trip down memory lane, remembering Flotsam and Jetsam’s history with Megadeth, including touring together during the Peace Sells...But Who’s Buying? era and the camaraderie that developed on the road.
